Tierra Sur

Nesteled in the middle of Oxnard, Tierra Sur at Herzog Winery was truly an amazing experience to the kosher palate. We ordered everything on the appetizer menu with the pate standing out as truly extraordinary. The special of the night were these tempura sweat breads with this fried lemon a truly fantastic combination.By the time me we got to our steak we were stuffed to the gills, that did not mean that we still managed to slice off a few pieces of this grilled to perfection materpiece. After that we could go no more and had to skip desert, which was indeed a shame.

I recently joined the Herzog Wine Club and just came to Tierra Sur for dinner. It was amazing!!! Delicious food. My huaband and I shared farmer's salad and soup, then salmon and steak (Spencer) as mains, plus Baked Alaska for dessert. Just wonderful. And if you step out to their patio, the wood fired oven makes the air smell like heaven. Loved everything here. Special shout out to the manager, Andre, and Austin, our server, for being so nice and accommodating with our 8 month old baby (our first nice evening outing with her). Highly recommend this wonderful restaurant!

Best wines and food around. The staff is wonderful. If you haven't been here, you're missing out and what are you waiting for!?!? The menu was crisp and yummy. Will easily recommend this place to my friends. easonable rates and generous portions. Good job.

This is clearly one of the finest place to eat in the area. Anytime I come to this place I am awfully happy. They always keep their high level service and the highest level of food they offer. You are always happy with this place. Highly recommended.

I take my family to this place from time to time! This is the best place to pass a nice evening. I go there routinely. The cooking is of high quality, the staff is welcoming and the prices are good. I enjoy going in this spot for a rich supper.

Great Experience. Nice free walking tour in the winery, great restaurant and amazing wine tasting. Was there for lunch which has limited menu but tasted delicious.

Plenty of free parking, no valet.Inside the building is a nice interior with tall ceilings surrounded by walls decorated with wine bottles. Came here with friends and each got the $89 all you can eat buffet, which included various salads, fish, chicken and meat, including soups and desserts. Does not include wine but must be bought separately or at the wine tasting. I think $89 is too much. The food was good but they can improve on the overall quality of the foods. Waitet service was great and on point. Soft drinks and teas are included. The wine tasting was the best experience, it's in a separate room where a waiter pours for you 8 various wines ranging from $10-50. To try this it's only $10, or buy a wine bottle from the stock.Try the wine tasting before you eat!Overall nice experience, will come back again. Ooh and don't forget to see the winery either by self tour or guided. Enjoy! Bon Apetite! ☺🍷

Definitely an impressive front and exquisite display. Excluding the wine however, I was dissatisfied with the food, it was mostly display and the restaurant lacked options and flavor. Though I appreciate the help of the waiters, I was surprised that I had to ask for bread rather than being offered. Overall, I will not be returning.
